It may not seem like much but it is mine!![]()
soooo, you just really like to get back in the sack with her, that's all
I usually stay out of this thread because A. I have no firearms experience and B. I get too upset that I can't have nice things like the rest of you, but I have to say, that rifle is probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Thank god Crosshair just made up for it.
My name is BJ and i approve those tig ol' bitties.
About 15-20 years ago, before black rifles were accepted patrol rifles, there were several smaller custom shops turning out "tactical" lever actions. Most had a slicked up action, ghost ring nights sights and a couple other options. They were pretty cool, shot well and were a viable option for an agency looking for a rifle but not wanting to have their road cops look like SWAT ninjers. This thing is just plain fugly and solves a problem that doesn't exist, IMO. However, for folks that can't own semi-autos, I guess it works, but wood on a lever gun just looks good.
Wood on nearly every gun i thinks look good, thou synthetics and metals are better in nearly every other way.
As for that lever gun, that thing is pretty weird looking but the really question is how does it perform since that is most important I would think for most people.
There is a point which you reach where you just can't **** with classics.
IE:
Putting synthetic stocks, rails, etc on a 1903, M1 Garand, and M1 Carbine is completely sacrilegious and should be punishable by death.
I would almost go to say the same thing about the 1911, but those have been accepted by most people as a modernized antique. Same for the M14
Double stack 1911s are still stupid. As are lever action rifles with tacticool BS that in no way enhances the weapon's performance.
Welp. The M&P-15 has been shipped back to factory. Now it's on it's way home to the mother ship in Springfield, MA.
ohh, just look at the bright side, you may get a better gun back.....maybe even in time for zombie apocalyps
