.....however, I gotta admit that I've got a 1955 Soviet SKS that I purchased 12 years ago, unfired. I've never put a round through it, and right now, don't intend to. I recently bought a Yugoslav SKS to have as a shooter. So, i guess that makes me a bit of a hypocrite, even though that Python just needs to be allowed to perform!

Kind of like a Porsche sitting in the garage forever, without ever having the chance to let the RPMs spin.

Ok Finally its been a year since ive purchased my AR. The first pic is the before pic, and the last two are the latest mods that I have made to it. Still want magpul rail covers a sopmod stock, and a rear flip sight. Im gonna chip it away a little by little but heres what I' have done so far. Magpul Maid grip, Midwest Industries free float handguard, Tango Down Grip, Three point Tac sling, and the my new eotech 551a65 that I purchased at a gun show last week for a stunning 275$. PLease offer me some suggestions for a rear flip sight.

It goes without saying, I'd rather own a Porsche than an SKS!

Unfortunately, I can't see any pics Createdeemcee. I'd be interested to see what you have, as I just acquired an AR, and am looking at options for optics, within a limited budget.

I'm going to pick up a 1943 USGI Colt this saturday. It will compliment my 1943 Remington Rand nicely.

I'll post pics once I'll get it.
