Thanks, I had them built during the AWB (2002-3?) very accurate but I hated the optics. Sold them when I got into the Piston AR-15s.
Should remember to never sell guns.
I sold my SL8 conversion also, just wasn't that great of a gun and since i was done with the project, so I was done with the gun...
I did however regret selling my SIG SG551-LB back in early 90s.

Heck, If I do that for all the cool guns I sold in the past.... I would be an eunuch!

Seriously, i got to fire a Aus Steyr on a range here in town a while back, both on semi and full auto. I actually enjoyed shooting it over 100m metres. Full auto, as one would expect made it walk up the target, but not to the extent i thought it would.
I think the average range Lee had me working with the AUG was around 25 meters, quick tap-taps stayed pretty tight.
I found it to be a rather impressive system; easy and comfortable to use.
