exactly the same paperwork, so it ain't any diffrent buying from a dealer or private person.

Sure, but it's all about location. Were I live theres only good privat salesmen (heard from other locals). Thats why I'm asking!

Of course, but it ain't no trouble buying long-distance. Make som calls to the big stores, and have a look locally to see if they can get some. haggle if the prices aren't acceptable (that is, at the going rate, haggling just for your wallet ain't exactly accepted practice here in Norway).

    Guys,
I thinking of buying Browning Buck Mark rifle. What is your opinions of it, if you have fired it or owned it.
    Thanks,

No more details than Loke figured out already by looking at it
They are very popular now that they are on a list, not unlike the US curio and relics list, which makes them obtainable without any paperwork whatsoever

beautifull guns, and getting old, so take care of her. You can also write and get a factory letter for it by the way. Tells you when and where it was made, assembled, test-fired etc.

The gunsmith we used to contract work out to at my old job. He does a great job, he only lives about 20 minutes away from me.

Atleast you can get a 40 round mag in the mail in your state...anybody know why pre-94 mags can't be shipped to NY? They're legal otherwise. And if you ask how do I know they're pre-94, I don't think East Germany or the USSR were around at the time.

you cant get them because new york is gay, as for the ban date, it is when they were imported, so alot of the current mags were imported after the ban expired. the one i got was romanian.
