Wiking, that satin nickel is the ***. I too have a scar/indent on my right hand from shooting 1911's. Its awesome.
Well...my Retro/New-AgeHighSpeed 1911 is almost complete. I just ordered a flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop from Numrich. And its done. Put a Kings beavertail and a GI style thumb safety(i opted against the ambi) on her last night. I also just ordered some more parts from Brownells for my SA Loaded...i don't need no stinkin' guide rod.
And...after i get my current money situation uncluster-f*cked I'm gonna start in on a Commander build. Fun Times.
thats a sexy 45, when i can legally get a hand gun a 1911 will be first.
^^Thats cool pistol. I get one if local authorities wouldn't frown on .45APC's... I love that classic Browning design.
