I just bought a Rock River stripped AR lower receiver. It will eventually be a heavy-barrelled, scoped rifle with a fixed stock.

That is what I'm looking at doing, a 16" mid-length heavy barrel, SPR/DMR type rifle. Just waiting on some LMT parts (namely the barrel and BCG). Right now I have a Bushy Carbine with a CASV-EL, and just bought some parts to complete an RRA Carbine with a Troy Ind drop in rail system.

Wolf is cheap, cheap is good.

There's a new brand from Russia called Barnaul. It is better than Wolf IMHO, and the price is the same. I don't know if it is sold in US though. I especially recommend their nickled steel "brass" cartridges, no more rust on the cartridges and no more burnt lacquer in your chamber. It does do about 1.5-2.5 MOA from my AK.

Barnaul is sold here...and its great!!! I bought 200 rounds from ammunitiontogo.com about two months ago, i have 60 rounds of it left and no failures, no issues i really like it. Good stuff. Cheaper than brass..but more expensive than Wolf.

I bought it at Northwest Armory in Miluakee, for $149.00. Keith's Sporting Goods in Gresham has DPMS lowers for the same price, or Rock River for $10 more.

Bright water Ventures in Vancouver, has DPMS for $130, I cannot remember the other brand, but it was $150, I think I sticking with that. I will be getting 2 receivers next month.

The Mosquito is a loveley little gun. My old boss has one and I've put a couple of hundred rounds through it. It feels surprisingly much like a 225, but with a lesser kick to it. Pretty expensive for a .22 though.

I like .22's when playing around on the range. It's a helluva lot cheaper than doing the same with a 9mm or, god forbid, .45.
