OK, that's not entirely true. There's nothing wrong with wolf and it will not ruin your chamber one iota. The only problem that arose from wolf is the lacquer on the case coming off in a hot chamber and that only happened in FA weapons from what I'm told due to the heat. Also the old brown lacquer was found to be weak and was changed to the dark grey that it is now. The only thing it did do back in the day was to gum up the chamber and thus jam.

Nice paint job! Doesn't look too dark at all!
Yea, I heard the Brown Bear bullets have the lacquer issue that causes the gumming up. Supposedly, the newer Wolf stuff doesn't have the lacquer on there because they coated the steel casing with some coating.

Knowing me, I probably would. But since wear's already starting set in again with the paint job, I probably won't paint it until I do a repaint of the rifle later.

Damn PG18...you just tempting me now. Now I think about it, I've pretty much changed all of the original furniture except for the pistol grip. I haven't had personal experience with the MIAD, but I trust you find it pretty good right?

    Thanks for the feeback guys.

That was it! The brown bear stuff was the funky one. The new stuff feels almost like a powdercoat but it's not. I actually prefer to shoot steel case ammo, spray a little oil on it and we're good to go! If I shoot brass I always snap on a brasscatcher and if I cant reload it, it goes in the brass bucket in the shop. The last batch of brass I sold brought me almost $500 and that I put back into more ammo. Its kinda hard to let those cases fly after you see them turn back into money in your pocket!

On the painting, what kind of paint are you using? Are you using with the Brownells stuff or going with an engine or appliance grade paint?

How did you do this? Is this just a special function of your camera????
I would love to do this with my DShK 38/46 and make a slow motion of it eating a half belt!

200% guaranted you will love the MIAD. It's the best AR grip in the market. i've had experience with different manufacturers such as CAA, Tangodown, and Ergo. But the Magpul MIAD just blows me away.

vz.37 is actually HMG (or MMG - if you count as HMG only large caliber machineguns) and rate of fire on high setting is ~700-800 rpm. Only experimental versions archieved up-to 1350 rpm.

Actually, I pretty much only use Krylon since they're easy to work with, and they're pretty cheap compared to other paints. They're also fairly easily removable if the paint job was FUBAR'd. That said, it certainly doesn't have the durability as Gunkote/duracoat, etc, but it's a lot easier and more flexible to work with.

Yea, I think I'll be picking one up in the future. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I took pictures today in better lighting:
