They might...but if the norinco clone has parts that are slightly off spec even by a few mm, then it won't fit.
I heard their 1911s were decent.
Based on pictures I've seen of their ARs, they have horrible finishes (including burs on receivers).

But, I heard they shoot ok. Don't know about accuracy and longevity though.

IMHO - Norinco makes great 1911 clones (5" Gov and Commander) as well as M14 (especially the receivers)

I would get a rear deal Sig though - wait I did P226 Navy and P229 both 9mm.

    Good one Sig! B)
I agree, I would not like to be issued this in a warzone, but it's a fun piece to have in my collection. And I want to try it, but I'll start with a weak loaded round first.

Do any of you fellas own a WASR-22? I had not discovered their existence till I bought my WASR10/63, and now I really want one of these. Probably much better on the wallet when it comes to shooting.

Thanks for the info on the Norc 1911, guys I'm planning to get one this weekend and your opinions as well as the ones on the other site i frequent to said to go for the Norc 1911. Yeah a Norc the home country of Armscor and Rock Island, blasphemous, right? Well the guys said go for the Norc and its cheaper... I would have gone for the RIA, but another country called the USA basically exhausted their supply.

Im planning to get a Norc and a Mavewrick 88 to complement my M-16. 3 gun match here I come. I suck of course, but enetring a competition here allows me a permit to transport in Airplanes to take it around.

Another update, is they have another Amnesty this year and last week I fired an M1 Garand, considering they are hella cheap here ($300 -$600) Im setting my sites on aquiring one.

Great minds think alike, I was going to mention the GSG 22lr AK clone they will be selling over here. The other one to look at is the SIG 522 in 22lr.

I don't really feel the need to start a new thread about this so I think I'll ask here instead -

I'm about to buy a .22LR pistol and would like some tips. I've fired the Sig Sauer Mosquito pretty much and like it for the most part but does anyone have any other ideas?! The type of pistol I'm after would be something along the line of that...

Does anyone have any experience with the Walther P22 in any config? Or some other ideas?

    Thx in advance!

Mosquito and P22 are cool but look too toy-ish for my taste...I went with a Buckmark because I wanted a sturdy weapon made of steel
