Thats actually just or foothills up here.
Mountains are measured in character, not height.

Everest is nothing compared to Devil's Thumb, despite it being 20,000ft shorter.

Yup, already answered. It's a Robinson Arms XCR 7.62x39. It's an AK style piston/bolt carrier/bolt, with an FAL style adjustable gas system and charging handle, and AR style aluminum body.

I got it from DPH Arms. It's about $60. The weaver rail is milled too thick, so it won't take 'slide on' attachments. It will take 'bolt on' attachments just fine. The second issue is the rail doesn't come with a attachment method at the stock, it was designed to screw in with the stock screw (which would need to be unscrewed everytime I clean it) so I had to rig up a bolt and finger nut attachment instead.

DPH does have a more expensive version that does have an attachement point at the rear, but I wasn't going to spend that much for a silly AK modernizing test.

Took my .30-30 shooting yesterday to get it sighted in for deer hunting, and came to the conclusion I want a new rear ironsite. Hopefully the one that is on there will do for tomorrow, going deer hunting with my dad

He said "Happy switch", so I assume it's select fire. He's in the Philippines.
