Nice score, Red_Fern.
And looks like you guys had fun, notoo7. I'm going to try to get out to a desert shoot next weekend, as I'm picking up my rifle tomorrow. Can't wait! (And yes, I'll post pics.)

Nice work Frens. Here's mine, kind of an Older Model MEU-SOC clone. Im ordering some Pachmayr GM-45C's off of Brownells tonight to finally finish it and maybe possibly an Ed Brown ambi safety.
Oh yea...Swiffer Wet Jet FTW!!! lol.
I got an EMC Wide-Spur from Brownells and fitted it to my SA GI this weekend. 200 rounds later i have a bit of a scab on the web of my right hand lol. I put 3000 rounds through this gun the summer i got it, i completely forgot how much i like it.I like the aesthetics of the Wide Spur...but it chews on your hand a lot more than the standard Spur Hammer.

Alright, here is a pic of my M6A3. Some might not think it looks pretty, but it's my go-to rifle, and is set-up as such. Function over form.

Thanks.
It is as short as it can get, legally, without paperwork. 14.7" barrel with a pinned flash hider. 14.7" is as short as I'd want to get on the A3 (so I can use the SPR/M4 suppressor) so I don't see a problem with having the flash hider pinned on there. It's a mid-length gas piston system, though, so the hand guard might make it look a bit longer than it is.
I'll be moving out of CA relatively soon. As soon as I do, I'll be purchasing a suppressor for it. Some might think it silly to pin an AAC flash hider on a rifle that's currently in California, but, Remington/AAC aren't going out of business anytime soon. The suppressors will be available after my move. Besides, the primary function of the muzzle device, is to be a highly efficient flash hider. Secondary, is a suppressor attachment.

I wasn't sure which thread to post this in, but I just wanted to give a heads up.
Aim Surplus has some pretty nice looking Ak-74's by In Range for only 600 bucks.
