any info about the panzerfaust3's performance against compounds/walls in afghanistan? is the bunkerfaust being used??

Whether the German military’s experiences in Afghanistan will affect procurement of the Panzerfaust 3 is unknown. The fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq saw heavy use of rockets by all sides. These weapons were used against tanks and large numbers of fortified positions and other structures.
Panzerfaust 3 has enjoyed high demand over the years due to its ability to engage a range of targets including armored vehicles and structures.

I'd take that as a "yes"? But the vets amongst us will know better.

The unit price of the IT 600 version fitted with the Simrad Optronics computerized sight has a unit price of US$11,108. ok, so the figures i had was most probably only the launcher. 300,-- $ sounds actually kinda cheap, i'm surprised.

One could say that - And unlike (most of the) Bundeswehr´s Army units, they have always trained for a scenario which is less different from contemporary asymmetric warfare.
Granted, they didn´t plan to defeat insurgents in some far away country, but wheras other units where preparing to face the Soviets at the Fulda Gap and the North German Plain, they trained to deal with speznas saboteurs and to repel airborne raids against our military installations.

Saying there are non whatsoever is a bit of a stretch. There isn't a dedicated CSAR helo at the moment, however there is a dedicated wing that trains CSAR with the Bell and the helos at hand.

The LTG61 runs a rather improvised program for aerial casualty recovery, that's right. It's nowhere near a true CSAR component, though.
