I have to admit that sadly I have very few pics of our German friends, but I'll share a couple more with you guys

First we have the friendly JTACs, whose officer had exceptionally good sense of humor and he instantly picked up on the Finnish way of sick jokes

The same JTACs just chilling out and preparing for a good night's rest...

...and less than 30min later the INS neighborhood watch decided to make us all feel welcome:

Oh, well they suck at aiming and no harm done but to our sleep.

And lastly I have to mention one officer, who seemed so very...German to me. Pretty much every time I saw him, he walked around looking like this:

That runway looks much better maintained than large parts of the roads in the old Bundesländer...

That man is one hell of a photographer. I'd love to know what kind of a camera he's using. He should give some tutoring to the official Bundeswehr photographers.

I was looking over the site and couldn't find any info with regards to the (I presume DSLR) camera. I do find it a little funny how he goes to lengths to obscure/hide his face on the page but uploads/links/likes newspaper articles which show with his first name and last name initial.

Don't give dem gubment bad idea's about using the Pioneers ... I can already see the first "internal military emergency deployment" using the poor Pio's to complete the runway in Berlin ...

They'll need parliamentary permission to be deployed in a warzone.
