Question: what is that thing on the (from our view) right side of the 20mm? Some sort of optical device? Is it an uograde? IIRC, the Wiesels did not have that thing some years ago.
Thx.
On another note cause I'm not up to date: are there Marders in A-Stan now, if yes, how many. How do they perform there?
Wiesel 1 ATM TOW - anti-tank vehicle fitted with TOW missiles ?
Now dont you guys confuse me. I was on deployment with a Fallschrimjäger company and know how a Wiesel 1 TOW looks like. That's clearly an MK20 version fitted with some, some... I don't know... some fancy extra stuff. But WHAT is it?
That is the new weapon sight for the MK 20mm, called "AOZ 2000" (autonomes optronisches Zielgerät, stand-alone optronic targeting unit), it includes a daylight CCD camera, a thermal sight and a laser rangefinder.
