G&G's have some nice exterior components and such, but TM is bulletproof insofar as the internals go. Their worky-bits just keep workin'!
Yea I have TM and it's been working fine. G&G M14 has all kinds of little problems and it's more expensive than TM.

I wrote that one night after being pissed off at the battery. I broke one of the wires, but it's fixed now and shouldn't give me any problems.Originally Posted by Spartan XV

Very nice, simple M4 carbine. I like it, looks great!
I was reffing a game yesterday where one of my customers shot his opponent (a 13 year old kid with a springer) at close range (about 6 feet) with his CA M203. Sure scared the sh*t out of that kid!

Nice m4 Spartan, similar to my project but fake aimpoint and a short m203 instead........now I gotta just find my platinum card....
How big of a battery do the crane stocks hold?
Is that the QD 203?Originally Posted by Spartan XV
The crane stock on my gun (G&P RAS II) is smaller (like the real Crane stock) that the CA crane stock, so it doesnt hold huge batteries like they can, but I like the feel of the stock better, doesnt get in my way. Right now I have 2 8.4v 1700mah batteries, with some 9.6vs on the way.
Im also getting an ACOG, an QD silencer, Im going to cut the barrel of the 203 down, and give it a paintjob (the trademarks are messed up pretty bad)
EDIT
No Milla it isnt, but Im trying to find the QD thingy for less than an arm and a leg.
You mean the trademarks on the M203? I've seen some pretty sh*tty machine work and overall fit and finish on gas M203's. The track that the tube rides in still has scrolling marks from machining, the finish on the trigger group housing looks like it needs a few passes with sandpaper, the breechfaces all look pitted and like poorly constructed cast metal. I'm sorry they all kinda suck.Originally Posted by Spartan XV

That, and I've yet to find an airsoft M203 safety that's as friendly to operate as an actual M203 safety. They always make the safety trigger too damn close to the trigger guard.
Maybe someone makes better ones that are actually worth what you hafta shell out for one of these things?
