I do NOT dislike your avatar. I grew up in a town that was 76% Asian, mostly Korean. Let's just say that I adapted to my surroundings (both with women, and watching out for their driving!)

Ha ha, yea, Koreans can be crazy drivers. I know a few, so this is from experience. On a trivial note, the person in my avatar isn't Korean.
Ok, new updates on the PEQ II, it's still a farcry from the expensive replicas, but it's slowly getting there.

    She looks Japanese.

You did a good job on that box, how large of a battery does it accept?

You're right, she is japanese. You're pretty good at distinguishing differences between asians.
As for the battery size for the box, I'm not sure. I currently only have 2 8.4 minis, so I don't have any other sized ones to try. Nunchuck batteries won't work, as I tried fitting in both of my mini 8.4s in, and it didn't fit. Large batteries are also out of the question. I'm assuming it can fit batteries in the market that are designed for the PEQ II replicas, as my home-made replica is entirely hollow on the inside. I thought of rigging my old WELL LAM unit, but it's not adjustable, and the pressure switch has since been broken.

Are you saying asians have a "difference" in their looks? No! No!, this can't be!!!!!!!

If you hang around asians enough, you can tell the difference.

It took awhile, but in general it seems alot of Japanese women favor lighter skin tones, whether they use makeup or not. Also, they seem to have larger eyes, errrr they are more open, know what I mean? Then again those are just my racist, whiteboy observations.

I don't know what kinda battery I've got in my M4, but it's maybe 3/4-2 times the size of a mini 8.4v, and it gives a helluva lot more power, endurance, higher ROF, yadda yadda yadda.

Yea, they do tend to favor larger eyes. You're right about the lighter skin tone, and it seems to be a trend in some asian countries (namely Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong).

You also use a PEQ II if I'm not mistaken? I'm wondering where I could get those special battery packs for the replicas without burning a hole in my wallet.

    www.batteryspace.com

your chances on getting a battery that's good or one that falls apart from that place = 50/50 ... but you cant beat the prices

Yeah I've got an AN/PEQ-2 from some sorta unusual company. It's the best one I've seen so far.

"That other" battery compared to a normal Mini 8.4v thingy. Gives my rifle an insane rate of fire, but I don't know how long it lasts since I don't fire alot of rounds doing the training I do (mostly walking a long ways, break contact, etc).

Thanks. I paint alot. The 550 cord is aroudn the AN/PEQ-2, with the other end affixed ot my RIS in case the mount on the PEQ fails. It's an Army thing. I've since deleted that, since it makes it a pain in the ass to remove the back to replace the battery. The battery cord kinda sorta half assedly works as a 550 cord thing anyway.

Is probably tied around the RIS rails, as that's done to keep any attached item from falling off.
