I decided to spoil myself with a couple new guns (the M4 style AEG and the 1911 Pistol) in November and a couple of accessories (one isn't with me), so here they are:
The AK w/ a basic red-dot sight. It's a cheap JG Tactical AK-47 with a Type 3 full-metal gearbox and mostly metal construction. It shoots 330-360 fps normally with a li-poly a tad bit higher (haven't chronoed yet). Cost me $100 w/o shipping and handling.
This is my new M4 style AEG. There were 3 main reasons I got this gun: nearly full metal, cheap, and the folding stock. It shoots 380-400 fps with its stock battery and with the li-poly up to 440 (I hear with a really nice one it can go up to 460). Cost me $140 w/ shipping and handling.
Finally my 1911, very cheap and overpowered. Stock fps is 430-450 it uses CO2 standard mag size. The spare mag cost as much as the gun ($60). All internals are metal as is the slide. Sadly non-blowback.

well finally my Christmas present is here. A SUSAT sight for my L85 AEG rifle
I'd certainly give that optic a fresh coat of paint if I were you. Looks awfully "foreign" compared to the rest of the rifle. Looks nice though, just a shame I haven't been into airsoft much lately or i'd love to get an L85 AEG.
thanks my friend. we should make a review of that G&G L85 including the SUSAT sight!!!Looks really nice!!! congrats!
You got yout point and I agree with you. the pictures make the difference very clear. if you watch closely you find the difference of colors, but on the field really who cares. the rifle its just awesome. the inner barrel lenght is about 510mm, overal lenght is 785mm. with a M120 spring the rifle reaches the 400 FPS, that was the last test with .20 gms bbs. with that inner barrel the bb can reach almost 50 meters. you should start airsoft with any L85, ICS or G&G. But I will recomend you a 100% the G&G.

And now modeled into a Block II M4:

I think this is the first airsoft L85 I have seen with proper optics.
Are there actually L85 Rails systems available for airsoft?
There are plenty of rail systems for the L85. Madbull makes one, WE makes one for their GBB and if I recall correctly they're being copied as ACM's as well. Example: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/...85&catid=&cat=
