    SUCK IT, TWOMBLEY!
    Nice weapon!!

    just out of curiosity, does the CA M15A4 perform good?
    i've always wanted a CA M15, as it is metal, but is it also durable, and reliable?

    Thanks

    I've had absolutely zero problems with mine. I hear that's the general concensus with the 4th generation CA rifles. And, they will clock at 300+ FPS right out of the box, usually averaging 320 FPS on the full-size M15A4.

    Scottie,

    I have yet to fire my airsoft M15A4. To give you the straight honest truth, I don't even play airsoft. I do, however, train with them. Me and my group use them for force-on-force training, and alot of other simulations. It helped me out alot in Infantry School, believe it or not. Weapons handling, reaction time, ALWAYS KEEPING YOUR WEAPON ON YOU (LOTS of others are stupid and forget theirs!), safety, friggin' just about everything.

    When I do fire it alot, I'll let you know. Any of our successful training operations end with all of our magazines still full. Unless it's force-on-force, or a raid of some sort.

    But as far as quality goes, Mr. Twombley over there suggested the CA M15A4 RIS to me, as I was in the market for an M4A1 RIS in all metal. It is very sturdy! I've broken 2 TM M4's before (reciever tabs), and this one is rock solid. It does the job for me, so far. I beat the **** out of my guns. I don't try to either.

    One thing I did do was replace the ****ty CA carry handle with an actual Armalite M15 carry handle. The difference is great. It's beefier, and the adjusments don't make it feel as if it's going to fall apart in your hand. It's adjustments are alot stiffer and tougher than issue sights on yer M16A2's and M4A1's etc, but then again, this one is brand new, and unfortunately, National Match (for airsoft guns? HAH!). Both apertures are way too small for close-in target aquisition, but then again, that's waht Mr. Dremel is for!

    I'll give you updates as I get more time off work.

    Sturdy? Hell yeah...the outer barrels are...the size of.. a thick tube. Very strong indeed.

    BTW ... don't quote an entire set of pictures please. This doesn't just go to scottie..and of course TENDA , but everyone. What the hell is the point. It's just a real pet peeve of mine..

    Exactly. I've got a lot of 'spare' parts to the point where I don't have to buy guns anymore - I just build them! Sick, eh?

    I have to say having a large battery in the stock is ingenious, and certainly balances out the gun. I like the VLOTR stock because it's angled at the end - meshes to your shoulder quite nice. Little things that make a difference.

    A few more I did - enjoy;

    lt_poncho, how do you paint your guns like that? I've been leaning towards painting the next AEG I get to go with my desert gear, and your paint jobs may have just pushed me over to doing it
    I take it you're spraying them in some way - one base layer with other layers built on top (using leaves etc. to break up the colour)?
