    Dear [member],

    First of all welcome to the forum (if new comer). We are always happy to see new people contributing to Turkish military pictures thread (link). Over the years this thread became very large and we noticed that posting old and already posted pictures became a common mistake by the new posters. This mistake unfortunately disturbs the purpose of the thread, as floods of old pictures cause others to ignore the thread and miss the new pictures. In order to prevent that, as the posters of the Turkish Military Pictures we have agreed to follow some posting rules. The purpose of these rules is to guide us to present the Turkish army in an appealing format. You will find these rules at the end of this message.

    Meanwhile, we are happy to see you here, and we are looking forward to learning more about you in our social club, "Turks of MP.net" (link).

    Welcome.....

    ==========================
    We, the frequent posters and followers of Turkish military pictures would like to voice some rules for Turkish military pictures thread. As mp.net is one of the premier source of military pictures, the pictures posted in this thread are watched by thousands. For some people, it is the only source of Turkish army pictures. Providing a smooth experience will help the others understand the Turkish army. We would like you to contribute this experience by following the rules defined below. The purpose of these rules are only to keep the thread easily readable by others.

    1. Do not post in Turkish. It only annoys non-Turkish speaking users.

    2. Avoid hot links, especially form the servers in Turkey as it slows down the page load and disturbs the readers.

    3. Try to put captions to the pictures. This will help people better understand Turkish army operations.

    4. Most importantly, do not repost images. This thread has hundreds of pages. Most of the online galleries are abused enough. If you wish, you can find the index of images previously posted on this thread below:

    5. These rules are agreed with MP.net moderators and the people who violate them will be reported.

    As frequent posters and viewers of this thread, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as all of us, including you, aim the same goal, help others learn more about Turkish military.

    Of course it s not true,I can only say,u get a serious punishment if they looked in sleeping mode.If it s in Special Forces or like us Mountain Commando Units...The enemy also give u exact punishment.Coz these units are special,and u cant see like that in special units,anytime...
    In infaltry they give u a punishment,that they can show u the door of military county.And they add extra days to ur military obligation time.
    In Turkey there s two different military,one of is "money-pay" military,these soldiers are professional,sp and others are beyond them...other s "volunteer-soldiers-(actually everybody except "money-pay" have to go military after 20 years old,if u got bachelor diploma,they send you military after 22,sometimes 24 years old.And those ve taken to the "assistant leutenant commando or non commando schools"...The max period in military for them s 16 months.
