    I read in a turkish military magazine that the 203 mm is very effective in the mountains

    And it is one crash in 175K hours. The accident rate is 0.57 aircraft for 100,000 hours, compare that to 2.4 average for F-16.

    Plus, the distance was not near 40km, so no need of using Firtina.
