It was discussed on trmilitary. It is not a digitized pattern.

This is what digitized looks like close up:

Thanks, and I agree they do look somewhat similar except the ours has less brown and more darker green with equivalent amount of light green, the greek camo looks like it has all three colors closer together, almost equivalent while the Turkish one has bigger blotches of the the three colors. Anyway do you think it is digitized because it sure looks like it.

It is not a digitized pattern.
why do you think it is not digitized? It is of course digitized. The design is drawn by the computers themselves analyzing the terrain pictures. Do you think in order to be digitized, it needs to have square pixels on it?

There needs to be patterns of fractal geometry on the fabric. The new Turkish camo does not.

    Definition of fractal:

A fractal is any pattern that reveals greater complexity as it is enlarged.

You can not just photoshop a pattern and call a digitized camo.

You are right about the differences in colors.
Also in our camo the distribution of colors is horizontally.
    In yours is more circular..???

    Nice change!!!!

    deli_dumrul,

Thanks for your brief lecture on fractals.

first of of digital camouflage doesn't require fractal pattern. Second of all, most of the time, they are generated using some mathematical functions. That function can be a single math formula or combination of several functions. Last but not the least, how do you know Turkish camouflage doesn't use fractal functions. Having programmed fractal function in the computers since 1990s, I don't see how you could figure that out by looking at the texture it is not fractal. It could be a union of several fractal functions, it could be another function (such as smoothing) that takes the output of fractal function and apply it. When I have time, I will look at TUBITAK to find the exact method they implemented.

By comparing with other digital camos. Where is the distribution of colors - pixelated or not?

I will be happy to learn I am wrong though. Get that TUBITAK info and post it on trmilitary too.
