Well to be honest i dont know if its from excersise or not, but i think these guys bust be "Bordo bereli"
The first one i agree he must be a tough guy he has many schools so he well trained. I think i saw him in a varius pictures wearing a Red (bordo) beret. If no, it must be his twin brother!!

What kind a camo is that with the pink colours?

Really..Altough I wouldn't know the exact reason why the ropes are in that color, but I'm sure they wouldn't use them during the actuall operations...maybe they were short of them and the vendor sent the wrong color... just before the parade

the same about the camo in the face, does the Red swits for a camo?
It sure doesn't...but I think this is just a training and not an actuall operation...looks like they did some kind of gesture for the photographer

they are like Suporeters of the Turkish Football team!!
    I'll bet they are too

    Is that a circus show?

It's the parade for 156th year celebrations of the Turkish Police forces...I guess they're putting a some kind of show for the public.

By the way don't get upset i am just joking. You posted some nice pictures there
    and this is my favorite!

    CD,

Wouldn't they have ISAF patch on their left shoulder if it was a ISAF operation? It's probably a training since he's taking a Videocam.(just a guess)

BTW, they're "search and rescue" guys and there is an hi-res version of this picture in the previous pages.

Oh ! really! I did not know the air force in Turkey had completely adopted the fighter. This latest fighter is sold. I was very surprised.

Actually, it was a poster, but I took its photo by my camera. So it's a bit low quality.

TAI REALIZES THE FIRST METAL CUT OF A400M
TUSAS Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) launches production of the first major component of the forward-center fuselage of the A400M military air lifter with a ceremony held at TAI facilities on 12 May 2005 at 14:00 hours.

During the ceremony, which will be attended by the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Air Force and the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries Mr. Murad Bayar, the first metal cut of one of the major components of the A400M forward-center fuselage, manufacturing of which is in the responsibility of TAI, will be realized.

Being a partner and member of Airbus Military S.L., TAI has been participating in the design and feasibility activities of the A400M program, as “National Industrial Institution” representing Turkey since the beginning of the program.

The contract of the A400M program, which is considered to be an important step towards the integration of the Turkish industry into the European aviation industry, was signed in May 2003. Within the framework of the program, a total of 180 A400M aircraft will be produced and delivered to the launch customers namely; Belgium 7, France 50, Germany 60, Luxembourg 1, Spain 27, Turkey 10 and the United Kingdom 25.

To compensate for the 10 A400M aircraft to be procured by Turkey, TAI shall undertake the structural work share which is corresponding to 7.15% of the total work. TAI’s structural work package includes forward-center fuselage, paratroop doors and hatch doors, tail cone and top shell on rear fuselage, ailerons/spoilers, whereas the systems work package, which is 1.26%, comprises lighting and water/waste systems.

The production process of the A400M program was started with the manufacturing of the first big fuselage component on 26 January 2005 at Airbus-Varel facilities.

The part, the manufacturing of which will start with the first metal cut realized at TAI facilities, is one of the 10 frames that will both support the forward-center fuselage and carry the fuselage structure. Following the production of other frames, detail parts and outer panels of the forward-center fuselage, assembly activities will start in October 2005. The end product will be delivered to Bremen/Germany in February 2006 to be assembled with the other fuselage parts.

With the A400M program, TAI, which shifts to “build-to-design” from “build-to-print,” will obtain a Design Organization Approval (JAR-21 Part JA) under Airbus Military S.L. Consequently, TAI will become a company that has control over all the processes, including design, test, certification and delivery right from the international requirements.

TAI AWARDED F-35 JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER WORK BY NORTHROP GRUMMAN
A long term agreement was signed between TUSAS Aerospace Industries, Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corporation to produce composite parts and subassemblies for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter at a formal signing ceremony held on 14 June 2005 at 11:15am at the Paris Air Show.

The agreement, amounting to a total of $100 Million Dollars, was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Hasan Peker GUNAL on behalf of TAI and Vice President Mr. Janis Pamiljans on behalf of Northrop Grumman.

The agreement covers production of composite parts and subassemblies for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, which is the world’s most advanced multi-role stealth combat aircraft. Signing of the agreement with Northrop Grumman, which is a principal member of the Lockheed Martin F-35 team, shows the level of technical capabilities of TAI.

TAI, which is is the center of technology in design, development, manufacturing, integration of aerospace systems, modernization and after sales support in Turkey, participates in the Paris Air Show with a stand (Hall 4/ C6), promoting its manufacturing capabilities and products.

    regards.
