Ahh..Agri/Dogubeyazit 1st infantry brigade ...where I was stationed for 18 months. I'll never forget the nights when it hit the -30 celsius.

Towed low level air defence system is an Aselsan-Roketsan Coopeation Project. You know, SSM has charged them to develop a towed low level air defence system at last SSIK assembly.

20 brand new 9.3meter NorthStar G 9500 all purpose RIBs have been delivered o Turkish Coast Guard and are in service throughout the Turkish coastline.
G 9500 has been specifically developed as a roll over type craft. It has inherent self righting capacity as well as a dynamic system as a back up should the boat cabin be flooded during roll.
Fitted whit high G suspension seats, air conditioner, electronics, toilet and a fridge, the boat will top 41 knots with twin 175HP Mercury Optimaxs. Current duty called for a top speed of 36kn only. However G 9500s can be fitted upto twin 300HP outboards for speeds in the 60 knot range in light form.
Hypalon tubes of G 9500 can be demounted and mounted whit basic tools without gluing.
