I did it as reserve officer. Tanker. Armor is great. Maybe the others (the men who did their military service, not the kids) can also share their thoughts on the different classes of service. just try to avoid infantry As for the Turkish teacher in the Istanbul area, go to a bar in Beyoğlu with Tolga and find yourself a nice Turkish girl IMHO

Sure, ill share my service
I spent the First 3 months in Balıkesir, i actually got attached to this one stray dog that was there, even though he was a stray dog he was fairly clean and was friendly all around, i guess we can credit the Officers there for taking such nice care of him.
After that i was transferred to Gaziantep (may i also say that they sent me there with a Kamilkoç bus ) where i would make quite a few runs and patrols, like my dad before me, i drove (the Turkish military is willing to let anyone with a drivers license drive xD) Ive only seen combat once in my service, but i'd rather not share for now at least...

I did my time 25 years ago for 18 mnts (D.Beyazit/AGRI) and a lot changed since then, but there is a great chance that you'll get to do civillian occupation related duty over there.
