It's curious that the TN's FPB stuck with the OTO Breda's 40mm and not a Sea Zenith CIWS.

Some info bro this missiles join to inventory at 2001 but we seen them at 30 August 2007 but as i know they workin about second version too and probably joint project with TUBITAK cause TUBITAK is working about the guidance systems too.My personal idea orko_8 will give more info about that.

Hey everyone! I have just joined this board. My first post is about the new camos of the Turkish Army.
A few years ago, when it was announced that a new national camo set is on production for the Turkey it was also revealed by Arzu Kaparol, the designer, that the boots were to be brown. In fact, she had added that it would go better with the new camos. A nice, woman touch

And at this forum

a fellow also said something about the brown boots.
However, so far I have seen only black boots with new camo sets issued in Istanbul

Could you please fill me in on this issue. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Well as i know still we using black boots and Yakupoglu producing them also my personal idea quality important than the colour too

Just heard that the frigate Gediz sent SAT commandoes to the hijacked Turkish cargo ship off the coast of Somalia and that the 5 pirates were captured alive!!!!

Very good of our SAT commando's. Exinferis, the 2 fregates left the hijacked Turkish vessel. The government did not give permission for an operation.
