    Default Photo Request - Falkland Islands Defence Force

    Hi Guys - can anyone please help me.

    I am looking for photos of the FIDF post-Falklands conflict, showing weapons and equipment used, and also if possible can anyone help me with details of insignia worn?

    When i made a post a while back it was very hard to find these pictures, but good luck.

    Thanks Fee - but I'm looking for pictures of the FIDF - The Falkland Islands Defence Force, i.e. the uniformed reserve force which recruits from the Falkland Island community.

    there was a tv documentry on the FIDF on a while back, they had some very gucci kit, because their budget is paid for by the Island and they have oil money, serious kit,

    Shucks, missed that. I know they are armed with the Steyr AUG which they managed to sneak past the MoD because of their budget not being directly MoD-controlled.

    The badge worn on the kaki beret is the same but bronze the one shown is from the FIDF dress uniform cap
