Came across this interesting depiction of an Italian monument during my travels around Rome.

Long time lurker, finally decided to join and contribute.
Here's a drawing I did for a college art class years ago. The equivalent of the M9 counts right?

^ Awesome work all. kayaker, that picture of the monument is fantastic. It reminds me of those carved columns the Ancient Romans used to put up when in place/camp I think to identify themselves as I understand it. I recall reading about Caesar, when his men had reached the Danube put one of those up, and seeing pictures of it, outstanding work.

Here's a little chalk drawing I did today, I am interested in identity, and camouflage, so that was the inspiration behind it.

Just looking at this. Is it considered Military Art, in a traditional sense or other? I have not formed an express opinion on it, except that the pattern formation in itself looks pretty cool imo.

Im a self published author as well as a writer/contributor at sofrep.com I have a sequel to my first novel coming out this next year and am looking for an artist. Needless to say, this isn't NYT bestseller stuff but covers make a difference. My theme is 'Security Contractors in the Congo' . I know, real original but I had good reviews for my first novel and novella. I'm looking for someone who could create an action oriented scene with a South african/ Rhodesian theme. I made enough off my first book to buy an AR, so I aint tom clancy, yet......Anyone interested in possibly working with me please PM me for my email address or yours and if you have a gallery or anything. http://sofrep.com/author/dan-tharp/

My latest creation: JTF2. This is made on a pine panel 36inches X 20inches, great for hanging on a wall. While posting this I just noticed that I forgot to add the back wheel of the Blackhawk...(will be corrected.) Pictures comes from OP NANOOK, I modified colors to make them fit in the woods with Arcteryx OD green gear.
