    Default Recognise the grenade launcher

Rifle is Diemaco C8 . What's the grenade launcher (possibly the M203PI short barrel ?)

Also , I was under the impression C8 doesn't have detachable handle carrier .

No it isn't... well not entirely
There are several different versions after the "original" C8 (which indeed had a fixed carry handle). Think; A1, A2, CT, etc.
All versions that I have ever seen after the "original" C8 have detachable carry handles.

It looks like a C8A2 with an M203A1 grenade launcher. Its worth noting that the pistol grip is non-standard piece (its fatter than the factory pistol grip).

It is Diemaco's Canadian made M203, differentiated by the extra mounting material on top (in between the barrels). The extra distance makes the whole thing heavier, and throws the ergonomics off, making it more difficult to aim and less acurate.

But we can rest safe in knowing that a super heated rifle barrel will not cook off a grenade in the tube.

I didn't think it was made by Diemaco only because I couldn't find it on their website.

    9'' barrel right?

I believe it is because they are no longer being produced.

If you look under their "E.A.G.L.E." page:

The Barrel Assembly offered is 9 inches long with a 12 inch option. A nine inch barrel has been used with success on the Diemaco 40mm M-203A1 Grenade Launcher. The nine-inch barrel has been tested extensively by the Canadian Forces and Diemaco with various types of practice and HE rounds.
There is also a big "D" stamped on the side too.

Most guys I know, and myself included, do not like the mounting mechanism. although reliability and accuracy are excellent. Probably why the Dutch and Brits use AG36 on their C7/C8s instead.

Could it be South African production?

not true about the brits, they use ag36 on their L85A2's and i have seen 203's in use with royal marines, dont know if they are colt diemaco or whatever though.

The Brits use the AG36 on their C8's.
Also the AG36 gives you more options as far as munitions choice (think: longer rounds), than the 203.

IIRC the dutch are the only ones to mount it on c7's and c8's http://home.wxs.nl/~rouw0062/dcdbase/fa_gl_ag36.htm and im pretty sure the only ag36's in the british army are on these http://www.army.mod.uk/equipment/pw/pw_sa80.htm

You may be right about the Brits, although I was under the impression that since they've gotten AG36 thats all they would really need. I don't believe any of the Falklands/Bravo 2 zero era M203/M16 weapons are still in use.

According to Diemaco's website, their M203 is used by Denmark and Ireland (and Canada of course)
