Thank you, and yes the Elcan is good for scouting ahead and I have gotten used to use it for aiming aswell. The 4x is a bit good for airsoft, but after a couple of times you get used to it.
Looks nice, you got a better pic & some specs on that rig?
Yes.. this is the first variant that I did, I will change some pouches and add some when I have tried it out a bit more.
The breakdown:
Tactical Tailor 2 Piece MAV Body in Tan with centerpiece and X-Harness.
A couple of TT single 5.56 pouches
A maxpedition Rolly polly
two large BHI ulitity pouches
a couple of TT flashlight pouches
and two Spectergear Triple Modular Magazine Pouch on each side
Very nice setup Chris!! Does the TT 2 piece MAV work well for you? Doesn't sag badly in the front?? Thanks for the infoOriginally Posted by Chris0176

Is there a standard look for contractors? I've seen contractors that were wearing jeans and a flannel shirt, driving a truck unarmed.
Looks ok, better than some of the others on here, would lose the Calico Jack patch tho, and mebbe the SPEAR jacket, havnt seen any pics of contrators wearing them.
Tbh, I would look in the Users submitted photos in Argyll`s bit to get an idea on what you are looking for, some great pics in there, rather than ask in Reenactment / Airsoft / Paintball.
thanks for the good input...
Howie Kaluha: Well.. the two piece works like a charm with the centerpice installed, without it I really felt like something was missing.
sun_tzu: well I guess you are right, but my idea of fun when playing airsoft does not contain a big ass truck
RAF: I have looked there and I feel since this is only for fun I felt that this part of the forum suited best and I also know that there are more then airsofters that read this part of the forum![]()
if thats a real elcan "wildcat" your a lucky man - they are a great scope, instead of shooting out to 3-400m with a rifle, you can actually use it effectively from 6-700m.
although you have a airsoft or whateverbut its a still a great sight - learn to zero to, even if you dont need to in airsofters
its a good skillset - youll be the envy of your friends
My only suggestion is, and this only comes from looking at pictures, add body armor. I haven’t seen many pictures of PMC’s without it.
i didnt realise that PMC's did alot of pace counting - like they dont do long patrols do they![]()
point: loose the pace counting beads....
whats with the pirate patch aswell....or is that that SEAL thing you guys always rave about - the jolly rogers hey..
really cool loadout the 2 piece tt mav it's great...!![]()
...ah...buy a safariland holster ...it's more "professional"![]()
nice load out mate! i see a navy seal calico jack patch in one of your pouch.![]()
heeh once again, thanks for the input.. the 'ol jolly roger and pace counter will be dropped asapand yes a body armour is a good addition.. regarding the holster I'm too happy with my bianchi to change it. I now safariland is a great holster aswell
And, no.. that is not a real Elcan, I felt a real one would require me to purchse a real gun aswell.. and since the laws here prohibit me from buying one I have to do with the AS version of everything![]()
