I've sold a bunch. I personally think it's a good, beefed-up alternative to the CZ75, since they are both the same basic design. Rugged, and it works.

I'd say go for it! Along with the Springfield XD9 and the Ruger P89/90/97 etc, it's the best value for the money! And one of the best Doubel Action .45ACP's out there!

    Have fun with it!

I made the mistake of buying one in 45acp. The slide stop broke in under 500 rounds, and the cheap black paint finish IMI put on it started cracking off after the first 50 rounds.

If you're gona get a baby eagle, get the full size 9mm - at the very least stick to the 9mm version since this is what they were designed to shoot.

For that much you could get a basic m1911 or XD.

ps- I have a USP. Nice weapon. Well worth the price

If you're willing to spend $500, look into the CZ 97's - I hear a lot of good things about them.

here's some info on it: http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg97-e.htm

gunbroker.com probably has them at right under $500

I bought an EAA Witness .45, because I could not afford a USP45F. With 5 10 round magazines, it was $330 before taxes and transfer. It had the worst trigger. I could never shoot it properly. It took me years to get rid of that pistol. It just would not sell. I finally bought a USP45F for almost twice the price. It was well worth it. Save the money. It is better to wait and get the right pistol, than to gt th wrong one and not be able to sell it.

BTW, I bought many cheap and varied firearms when I started collecting. When NY was talking about a ban, I sold most all of my junk and got almost every HK that I wanted. If I had it to do all over again, I would buy only HK, Sig and U.S. military type firearms (M1, M1 carbine, 1911...).

It is no big deal if you are shooting for fun, but if you want to be a little competitive, quality and reliability are a must.

    Ouch! 500.00 USD? Really?

That's fairly over priced. All the Jerichos (the real name of the gun) I have seen came in at 425 to 350.00. About the same for a Taurus in the same range.

yah, i told this to my friend and he was like what crack are they smoking? ~lol~ Also, they had a Galil priced at $2500! Other than that, the place here is pretty crappy. I don't think I'll be heading back.

    Anyways..

And to think I sold my Sig 220 in mint or excellent condition with night sights for $400 ( I guess I didn't care much for it and wanted to get rid of it ASAP).
