    Default Star Wars Airsoft Stuff

Call me a nerd. Go ahead.

I want to make an airsoft Stormtrooper Blaster Rifle. I just think it would be cool if some dude dressed up in kinda boring earthen colors (not Stormtrooper armor) like some extra on a Star Wars set, and kicking some tactical-gear cladden airsofters asses would be cool, not to mention comfortable while not carrying anything uneccesary.

But anyway, it requires a Sterling SMG, but if anyone has any ideas on how to make an AEG version, lemme know. I'll probably just make it from parts in my friends exhaust shop and Home Despot or any of those places. I don't feel like buying a $141213231234124 Asahi Sterling GBB or something and ruining it. It's a really simple design, so i'm sure I could make it work with enough welding!

Gear to support it would be some old leather SMG mag pouches, and a cape or some ****. Nothing fancy, nothing that would look TOO out of place in normal life. Don't wanna look like a child molester.

    Anyway, gimme some suggestions!

I'll keep you posted if this works.

This reminds me of an Op. my friend wanted to set up. His idea was for a Road Warrior/Mad Max2 style game/camp out. Where you have to wear mad max outfits and fight for food and beer!

I THINK that Cheaper Than Dirt had some non-functioning Sterling SMG's. If you had the time and the resources you could get one of those and modify it to accept a gearbox of some kind and then a barrel. I'll look more further into it tommorrow.

I was thinking a parts kit woudl do the trick. I just gotta cram a gearbox into that thing though.

Which means I need a gearbox. Anyone got a gearbox they want to "donate"?

    MrSkorotsnoy, you're a nerd :o)

If you had any decent Sterling AEG and converted it into a blaster, I'd even called you a blasphemer and pervert, but until then - check this out:

You're just wannabe-nerd Skorotsnoy, far from real deal

But that inverted, cut-in-a-half binos mounted on that blaster are cool too.

There is a dude on Airsoftplayers.com who built a custom Stormtrooper blaster out of PVC using a Glock for internals.

    Check out this site:

    http://www.imperial-fleet.com/BBC/

At Op:Broken Alliance, when the night game began to degenerate (as many night games unfortunately do) my team broke out our lightsabers and went hunting. You don't last long against AEGs, but getting a lightsaber kill is priceless, even if you have to sacrifice yourself to do it.

"Not as clumsy or random as an AEG, a more civilized weapon for a more civilized time."

I can't beleive that the weapon that I started out using when I first joined the army 20 years ago is now a sought after item. My god we must have got rid of thousands when we went to the L85

HEY YOU SHUT UP!! I'm in Imperial Storm-snaz!

Eric, fellow ex-USA Stormtrooper, thanks for the link! And the Obi-Wan quote.

I haven't gotten a lightsabre kill yet (tried once in a huge field, got buried), but I got about 4 knife kills last week. Priceless. "HEY! Put that thing away! DAMNIT!"
