I have no idea but I know Aimpoint has made custom sights for the Swedish military (or was it Norway).
the letters on it seems to be different with my M2
my M2 is with Comp M2 4MOA.....
Is this the real one?
or this is the copy?

actually
I would like to buy this
and the seller said that this version is only for US army
I just want to make sure this is the real one or a copy
(Because the letters on this one are different from I got before)
You could always email aimpoint directly and say that you have been offered one but just want to make sure it's the real deal.
That's a VERY good advice.Originally Posted by D.Sigurdsson
I have to admit I never saw a fake one with that kind of rubber covers, only the real deal, but they can be switched I gues...
Why do you want to check it anyway? Don't you trust the seller?
Looks just like mine except for the covers(..mine are flip up). If it is Milspec, the first several clicks should be invisible to the naked eye (IR for NVG...).
Very unlikely a knockoff would have that.

Posted before, but this is the model that Aimpoint spent a few years developing for and in cooperation with the swedish army. Probably the best military Aimpoint sight around. Introduced on a major basis last year.Originally Posted by D.Sigurdsson
Improvements afaik:
Increased light transmission for improved usage in dusk and dawn
Reflection hider
Improved shock protection and rubber coating
Mounting rail on top of sight
Reserve iron sights on top of sight
Capable of mounting some kind of night vision stuff behind the sight
Capable of mounting some kind of "stuff" in front of the sight
Capable of detecting "invisible" laser dot from separate laser
Battery should withstand 10 years when used on a daily basis
