actually i'm not so much into it to really like 'em. I just quoted Knutsen and wanted to say that betis have a name in europe, they're not that unknown. And it's always nice to see other teams then the well known top two from any league. Everybody knows Barca and Real Madrid. I find it more interesting to see a game of betis which you cannot see very often here.

btw nice stadium pagesorry only in german, but easy to browse!)

as much as I hate arsenal, they are not overrated, they went a year without being beaten in the premiership, they are **** at european football though but you never know one day they may just click and actually win against decent european opposition.

This time they're lucky to be in an easy group, compared with their city rivals Chelsea and the defending champions.
Besides,ManU went to the easiest group as always,I think.

I reckon arsenal's group is easier than man utd's

    GROUP B
    ARSENAL
    Ajax (medium)
    Sparta Prague (medium to easy)
    Thun (piece of piss)

    GROUP D
    MAN UTD
    Villarreal (on form- forlan!)
    Lille (medium to easy)
    Benfica (medium)

There are alot of stupid football wisdoms, but one i always true:
No matter who you play, if you consider yourself as a team that can get far or win the tournament you have to beat them all. No matter if there's barca in your group or thun. We all know the total underdogs are never nice to play. When you ask for example the Bayern coach about their group you'll hear that they will win the group and don't mind if there's juventus (or any other top team) in their group. They are happy about equal opponents. No top team should complain about a little "easier" or tougher group. Who says Sparta or Ajax are easier then Benfica or Villareal? Actually who cares? Alot depends on little things and momentum all of these teams are capable of on a good day!

Damn i sound like a Bayern Lover but they're always overloaded with confidence. Ask Kahn . And i doubt ManU or Arsenal care who has the easier group as well.

but he's right with one thing. Arsenal can win every single game in a season but suck in the international game. Overrated also means that you expect alot. Let's say "overrated" on a high level.

I can remember some pretty big European wins meself, against Inter for a start..Sadly yes we do seem to self-destruct in Europe every season
