    Good on ya, Liverpool.
Liverpool displayed the poorest football i've seen in Champions league in the last years. Betis payed their innocence.

I remember Bayern beat Real 5 times out of 6 in a year or two. I'm not exactly sure anymore. Somewhere back around 01/02. They met in several stages. It's possible.
Yep, Bayern was Real's nightmare some years ago, but don't remember Real eliminated Bayern when the situation required it. During that period MAdrid was on it's way on the third title in 5 seasons. When Real Madrid needs to win don't doubt they'll do it in 95% of the times.
I remember in 2000 , when Real was playing ****. We had to play against Manchester and every loudmouth in Europe was saying "bah, Manchester is going to win easily, Manchester is the ****, no doubt they'll be european champions" and, what happened?? Real Madrid stunned everyone with its fabulous victory (great overall play and great goals).

For me (and for many people) there are 2 truly big teams in Europe: Milan and Real Madrid. They are the only ones you can't take their defeats for granted. When big times arrive most teams **** their pants whereas these 2 take the best out of them.

Since a few people mentioned Borgetti earlier, I though I'd post the score from the Bolton-Plodiv UEFA cup match. He came on a substitute midway through the second half.

    Bolton 2 - 1 Lokomotiv Plovdiv

    B Jancevski 28

    E Diouf 72
    JFE Borgetti 90

You just escaped total embarrassement. The goal of Thun was quite nice! I didn't even expect them to score. And when got Arsenal their winning goal? 90th? Swiss league!!!
