??? They fired Mou, Grant, big phil, Hiddink (stop gap), then Ancelotti before AVB. If they are paying any price, then it's for sacking Mou. Ancelotti wasn't the best of the lot at least as far as the win/loss column in Chelsea goes.

Mourinho was the best true, but one club cannot have two ultimate Alfas.

Plus after firing all those coaches, one would think that Abrahamovich had developed the sense not to fire Ancelloti after last season, he did take them to second place after Chelsea hit a massive slump mid way, if he had more time Chelsea would have definitely improved greatly.

As for AVB, I don't know why Abrahamovich hired him in the first place. I mean for a guy whose base demand from his teams coach is to at least win the League every year, hiring a such a green manager who has never managed a top side or even ever managed in a top league before was stupid.

I got nothing against carlo but he wasn't spectacular by any means. Chelsea looked out of sorts a lot of times and their big decline began under him. It wasn't necessarily his fault; they had an aging squad and an owner that wants to be GM, Talent scout, and coach at the same time. I don't see he how keeping him around would've helped. He was coaching with one hand tied behind his back and so was most of the guys before and after him. Abromovich is the real problem here not the coaches he's been hiring and firing.

AVB may have been the wrong choice, but I don't think anybody will do well for long under Abromovich. Besides, older and declining players like Lampard think they are above the coach. Nobody can excel in that condition, how much more so a rookie coach.

Sundowns are on top of their Premier league as for Powerlines, I couldn't find them even on third league list. That might explain such a high number of goals.

Stürmer Paolo Guerrero vom Bundesligisten Hamburger SV wird nach seinem brutalen Foul an Torwart Sven Ulreich für acht Spiele gesperrt.

Eight game suspension for Guerrero? Are you kidding me? I can live with four games, but eight? It's not like he broke his legs or something. I hope they appeal.

Yea, it was a reckless tackle, but 8 game suspension is too much!! We see very malicious stamps, elbows etc (violent conduct) some of which happen far away from the ball get 3 games suspension in premier league and across Europe. Jermaine Jones got 8 games for deliberately targeting an injured foot before stamping. In Guerrero's case, it was a matter of a bad tackle made out of frustration. 3-4 game suspension is all that it warrants IMO. I hope they can successfully appeal it.

His sole intention was to hit and presumably injure the goalkeeper who was always beating him to the ball. Keeper was lucky. That **** has no place in football, the c*** might get the message now.

In the EPL you get 4 match bans for accumulating cards, 8 for assault hardly seems unfair by comparison. Don't get me started on Suarez, that ban should have been quadrupled.

Incredible behaviors from the Milanese players. Van Bommel is lethargic.
