    Napoli
    Cavani best defender?

Seems that the Chelsea players are playing for their manager again. (or is it Terry and the old boys who's really running things?)

Yea they are playing for their manager (John Terry).
Napoli can't defend to save their lives.

Di Matteo is only in the managers seat to cover the fact Terry's the one in charge....

Great game of football going on in Bilbao, even for a Utd fan.

Bilbao's fans buck the football stereotype. Applauding the quality of an opponents goal? Didn't think I'd see the day.

Also a worrying insight into what awaits England in the summer; more ignominy.

It's going to happen from time to time. I said before the season began (in this thread, I think), that this would be one of Fergies greatest test, this season. Needs a CB, a RB and 4 MFs. At least we have replaced VDS with a decent keeper. This is the weakest Utd team I've seen since probably around 92-93 - which is why Mancini has to go if they finished 2nd and Dalglish should feel extremely pressured. This is not a very good Utd squad.

Rooney, Cleverley, Vidic, De Gea and Hernandez apart, there are a lot of current and future journeymen filling the roster.

Anderson, Nani, Carrick, both Da Silvas, Owen, Evans...there's a lot of people being paid for consistent mediocrity.

I think what annoys me so much is that the team seemed to just give up for the end half..... First time since the City massacre that i've actually chosen to stop watching a MUFC game...

To be sure, I'm not how much heart there is amongst the players to play more game for little they'd deem of worth. Which in itself is a tad worrying.

More worrying still is Utd could field one (****ing 1!!!!) player that could match the technical proficiency of the Catalans.

Iraola's play was wonderful, a pity it ended outside.
