blame the tax....english players' value usually being inflated by at least 30 percent

darn tax being yoking the wrong people in british isles since the middle age....no wonder the yanks went for independence

god... **** that **** New league schedule out for Bundesliga.

We (Fortuna Düsseldorf) got promoted, FIRST HOME game in front of empty seats: Opponent Mönchengladbach. DERBY. Cities are 20 minutes apart. The city where i work vs. the place i live and grew up in, all my colleagues are pissing me off already. And NOW it's exactly the game where they ban the audience. Waiting for it for years now.

(punishment for troubles at the relegation play off - a big punishment. 52k emtpy seats instead of sell out crowd))

    Hopefully that'll get reversed.

    No surprise, just dissapointing

Also, Ibrahimovic has been linked to PSG.
We'll see... but am also not convinced Kagawa will succeed there. He'll sell a lot of jerseys in Japan though.

    Yep...
I can tell you, the intense rivalry between Cologne and Mönchengladbach was only due to the absence of Fortuna in the last decade and a bit of boredom. It only became bad in the last 5 years or so.

F95 -FCK obviously and on the other hand the much closer neighbour of BMG - F95 were great games 'back then'. I remember Effenberg in a sellout Rheinstadion (60k+) losing his cool, because Fortuna played 'destructively'... haha. Fought with a steward.

I had no clue. Haven't seen any news from the leagues. The Euro distracted.

Ex Bayern player Breno today received his sentence for burning down his own house last September - 3 years and 9 months in prison.
At that time he was drunk and depressive and seemingly frustrated about a knee injury that sidelined him.

Penalty goal for Portugal in the 90th minute after they managed to not score for about 20 minutes while camping in front of the spanish goal.
