Game abandonded 39th minute after Luisao of Benfica Lisbon knocks out referee. In a TEST match. 25-30k attendance, live TV. Ended up with Fortuna playing the second half against each other. lol

The German Regionalliga game (3. division) between FSV Zwickau and Carl Zeiss Jena had to be cancelled.
It seems screws of the guest stand had deliberately been loosened and partly completely removed so that the stand would collapse when the guest team fans would be on it.

What motivation would force a ref to abandon a completely fine TEST match, with a big attendance? I think he just hit him in the solarplexus, if intentional or not, knocked him unconcious.
Benfica on the other hand, a champions league side, hammering Real Madrid 5:2 in another test could not do much against us and got frustrated. We should have led the game at that stage.
It was meant as a joke.
That was at the 39th minute so frustration must have been enormous with the ref so to speak. Anyway it still was a great dive and WWF worthy.
