He collided with the Wycombe goalie when he scored. Well taken goal though. He should be their second choice striker now.

Chelsea were crap. They put out a pretty strong team, although no out and out strikers! Mourinho is as good as gone.

Figo is going to the easy money as well. Reported one year deal for Al Ittihad (Saudi Arabia) at 5 million euros for the first six month. He had a proposal from the US and declined.

Beckhams deal works out at about 3.3 million euro a month for 5 years. Lets face it, 1 mil a month or 3 mil a month...both sums of money are massive

If "soccer" gains more popularity in the US and the MLS starts to approach a status similar to what the NHL enjoys in the field of hockey, I think European football teams and leagues will be in for some serious soul searching.

Continue as usual- Become farm-leagues for MLS
    or
Have G-14 transform in to a league- Become farm-leagues for G-14

Good for football as a sport that the popularity is spreading though, now if we all could just start calling it by it's real name as well.

Good that its popularity is spreading? You make it sound as if it isn't the most played / biggest sport on earth O.o

**** me that was a harsh red card for Gilberto.
Savge is a cheeky bastard. I must admit I like watching him though, he cracks me up.
