Egypt is good when they play in Africa or a Friendly. Add to that the USA as the opposing team and I've got my matchup for the 9th.

The time is TBA, and TV coverage here in the States is undetermined right now. I would assume it would be on in the early afternoon in the States if it's covered live. I won't be able to watch the game live anyways -- have business appointments that day, dammit.

And gems like suggesting Messi couldn't cut it at Stoke. Although they aren't the exception, most football pundits and commentators are terrible.

Here's a perfect example, just after Man City signed David Silva and Yaya Toure a pundit said he didn't know who they were and as such they were a waste of money. So a football fan called him on it...

I'd rather see people like Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara analyse a football match with enthusiasm and humour, than hear some ex-footballers with a personality bypass and no real football knowledge run through a list of cliches.

    Alan Hansen > God.

Andy Gray is a **** that has plagued my screen for far too many years. Seriously, what can a Scotsman talk about other than beer, heroine, vandalism and wife beating? **** off pal. As an aside, that lineswoman got the call spot on.

Well we all know how well the U.S played against them in the Confed Cup in 2009, hopefully they take it to them like they did then.
I watched most of that first half against Chile and I have to say, the energy level was pretty freaking unreal with some wide-open play.
The guy that really impressed me was Dax McCarty, that dude made some crazy passes when he was in serious traffic and I headr that Agudelo played really well again which is great to see considering how badly we need a 2nd striker with Altidore.
Teal Bunbury also has some real nice size and moves.
The guy that disappointed me was Omar Gonzales at CB.

No and No...Try any African, LatAm or even Eastern European Leagues. When you'd play in Donetsk at -15 or try to outrun some AIDS infected Congolese defender or flee from a bunch of Vasco da Gama drunken fans you may look at the EPL as your retirement (with benefits).

Arsenal are making heavy weather of things as usual. Hope Ipswich win, like it when people beat Arsenal! It's almost a shame a team with such world class players can't get some silverware.

10 minutes of stoppage time added to the Man Utd - Blackpool match. Man Utd was down 2-0 at HT, but have scored 3 goals (two by Chicharito and Berbatov in two minutes) to pull ahead. Can't believe the stoppage time is that long. Rafael on his way to hospital.

Good week to have Berbatov on your fantasy football team.

I see Adam has put in a transfer request, should imagine there are a good few teams who'd snap him up. He seems intergral to the way Blackpool play, I'll be interested to see how they cope if he does leave.

    No comment on the non-penalty?
It probably should have been 3-0.
