    According to Real Madrid newspapers (opps, I mean Marca and AS) Gravesen has been rumoured to be used as exchange for Albert Luque of Newcastle.

    pffffffffffff , at least "Real Madrid newspapers" dedicate a full cover and a lot of pages when Barça wins something, whereas "Sport" and "El mundo deportivo" always dedicate their covers to such interesting things as "Ronaldinho has bought a new pair of shoes" when Real Madrid wins the Champions league , Spain wins the handball world championships.......

    Arsene Wenger has confirmed his interest in signing Monaco striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

    According to one of my sources, Adebayor left Monaco earlier this afternoon with an Arsenal escort... woowoo

    Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted he is interested in Southampton starlet Theo Walcott.

    As for that, I'll believe it when I see him in an Arsenal shirt although the BBC reckon its a done deal

    heh, scratch the above its official now;

    Striker Emmanuel Adebayor signs for Gunners

    Togo international joins Arsenal from AS Monaco for an undisclosed fee.

    Im thinking of doing a premiership transfer roundup in this thread so those that don't have the same kind of coverage as we do here can keep up to speed :]

    Still isnt what you gooners need. Its great to get new talent, but upfornt isnt the problem, its in the middle of the park that you are suffering.... Anyway, im not wenger, so i dont really know whats going down. I still think gravesen would solve alot of the gooners troubles.

    Cheers,
    Paul

    For poor old McClaren I have;

    Quick couple of stories;

    Tomas Rosicky's agent says he has held talks with Arsenal regarding a move for the Borussia Dortmund star.

    Arsene Wenger hailed Thierry Henry's record-equalling performance and then offered his strongest hint yet that the £5m-rated 16-year-old Theo Walcott, who is said to favour a move to Arsenal over Chelsea and a host of other clubs, may already have signed at Highbury. Asked whether he would bring in a replacement for the defender Pascal Cygan - who will be out for 21 days because of the hamstring injury he sustained in the match - Wenger replied: 'I just bought three players.' He has actually signed two - 19-year-old French midfielder, Abo Diaby, and Togo striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, 21. Realising his mistake, Wenger said: 'Sorry, two!' Then, when the laughter had finished, the Arsenal manager seemed to concede that Walcott is on his way or is very close to arriving. 'Sorry, two and a half,' he said.

    And the funniest thing all week;

    Eriksson is quoted as saying Michael Owen is not happy at Newcastle but 'economically has never earned that money in his life'.
    He also says that Wayne Rooney's temperament stems from the Manchester United star coming "from a poor family" and that team-mate Rio Ferdinand is "lazy" and "too talented" for his own good

    You'd be a fool not to suspect that already. Rooney is obviously affected by his upbringing. People have said that about Ferdinand before, if he weren't so lazy he would be the best defender in the world. And Owen blatently wanted to go back to liverpool, but then again he'll probably devellope an attachement to newcastle.

    Is Man U's loss to Man City going to give Liverpool a better shot at second in the EPL?

    nah liverpool had and has 2 games in hand and are only a few points behind, Man Utd losing the derby may make it easier but it's the Man Utd vs Liverpool match next sunday which will really determine who's second in the Premiership.
