With Chelsea reaching this years European Champions league Final .. nice to see a British team in the final off course some might not like that noted team but also it's highlights what is fundementally wrong with the entire Comp ,,, A team that doesn't win there respective league goes on to earn a place in the Final in the old set up this would never be the case . If the old setup wasn't broke why change it . Winning league titles might be what fans desire but the boardroom prefer's A Champions league place instead because it's financially more lucrative .. SAD BUT TRUE and is always used a incentive to attract players .

Offcourse i might be in a minorty with that view , Look at Glasgow Rangers before they ended up in the financial quagmire [ no surprise really ] .. the league they play in isn't financially lucrative but the main point of attracting players was European games ..

What is fundametally wrong is that UEFA was not sustainable with 4 (yes FOUR) different cups until 1970, 3 from there on, where some of the best games were NOT played in the EC³. So again calm down. The current format makes for a far more realistic description of the European football realities.
