    Very interesting! I don't know anything about it but I hope it's true because the AMX-30 has very weak armour. Very good gun though...

    Yes, the French always make good guns. I wonder if they will add the capability to fire Gun-Launched-ATGMs like the Bastion (for the T-55) from the AMX-30's gun. It's not impossible technically, for the T-55 has a rifled gun as well...
