Unfortunatelly, yes we will receive 500 Marder3 ( I thing the -3 Variant is not so old, but you are right its old enough) in order to replace 500 Bmp-1 which will be transfered to the New Iraqi Army. Greece will receive a new modern APC after an international contest. I hope the "Puma" will win and we receive some Pumas
I hope you mean Marder A3 - there is NO Marder III! There was a Marder 2 planned - but this is a long time ago. And the Marder is quit old and hopefully you will get the best ones.... good IVFs but.... with no future, they were slow, have not enough power and the arment is not the best. But to replace the 500 BMP1..... ALL is better than BMP1s in a western army

When you will get the first batch of them?
Ofcourse i mean the Marder A3! According to the plan the First Marder A3 will arive in February

Ok! the 1st Army division is the operational HQ of the Elite Infantry Forces, that is the 71st Air-Mobile Brigade, the 32 Marines Brigade, and the 1st Commando-Paratroopers Brigade. Also it takes under administrative comand the 13 Special operations Command (13 DEE)
To the 13 special operations comand (DEE) belongs the Amphibius Comandos, and the Underwater Demolition Unit (MYK)
According to the plans Greece will form a Responce Force Brigade consisting from special units from Army, Navy and Airforce.

    Hey Greek-Airborne and Flanker 7,

Do you have any pictures of the andarte? I am looking for a kappa (cloak) worn by them during the anti-Nazi guerilla campaigns during World War II. Are they still made or sold by anyone in Greece?[/i]

    Default modern Hellenic Army vehicles

For people interested in modern Hellenic Army vehicles, the 25th March parade photo page is now available in English here; http://www.ipms-hellas.gr/01_WhatsNew_frame_UK.htm there are quite a few pics so you might have to be a bit patient for the page to load.

Scrolling down this page ( http://www.ipms-hellas.gr/01_WhatsNew_frame_UK.htm) you'll also find more links to modern airplane and helicopter walkarounds.

The webpage belongs to the IPMS (International Plastic Modellers Society) Hellas and we hope you like them.

When the address looks like this:
    http://hafcphotos.cs.net/view/gp.cfm...=158979&type=2

You have to use html code instead of BBCode.
    Code:
    <img src="http://hafcphotos.cs.net/view/gp.cfm?photoid=158979&type=2">
    Voila

    Nice picture, keep em' coming!
PS. I like the colors in your flag
