    Used for Navy pilot training, there were plans to replace them with new helicopters or second-hand from Holland but lack of funding cancelled the project (€5 millions). Perhaps in the future Navy pilot trainees will be send to the Army Aviation School.

    And last but not least, lest we forget those that have fallen for our Freedom. Respect.


    Sailor of the Royal Hellenic Navy, Died 20.08.1944. Two destroyers from the Royal Hellenic Navy took part in Operation Overlord, the Normandy invasion (i.e. D-Day) between 6th June and 25th Aug 1944. This sailor must of got wounded then and died later at Harefield Hospital from his wounds.
