Dark Avenger my good friend Kostas, as you can see on the above selected thumbnails, you forgot the most important rule on photography - I bet because the heat of MP.net journalist spirit. Why did you stand on the left side of the road and took these pictures while heading towards the sunlight, resulting faded colours, shadows and flare effects on the pictures? I think that IF you had moved your lazy feet and stand on the right side of the road to watch the military parade & take some shots with your camera, the sunlight would be your friend. Not only it wouldn't block or fade your pictures with shadows, but it would make the colours look brighter and more realistic. Better luck next year!
PS. Luckily, the early morning clouds blocked the sun for a while and helped to have a very nice Leopard picture.
