„Intelstop!, Intelstop!“ 08/28/2005: Soldat der KARLSRUHE beim Absichern des Boarding-Teams. Sofort reagieren die Soldaten des Boarding-Teams. Oberleutnant zur See Sascha Schwarzer ist Boarding-Offizier und leitet den Einsatz. Während an Oberdeck des Schiffes die Stationen an den Maschinengewehren besetzt werden, legen die anderen Soldaten des mobilen Teams ihre Ausrüstung an. Gewehre, Pistolen und schusssichere Westen sind immer mit dabei. Jeder hilft jedem beim Anlegen und Überprüfen der Ausrüstung. „Teamfähigkeit und Einsatzbereitschaft sind gefragt und keine Rambotypen, die sich und andere gefährden.“, so der Sicherungstruppführer (STF), Leutnant zur See Veit Winkler*.

Fregattenkapitän Joachim Gutow, Kommandant Fregatte KARLSRUHE, gibt seinen Boarding-Offizieren letzte Anweisungen auf der Brücke des Schiffes.

Das Boarding-Team ist ständig per Funk in Kontakt. Das elfköpfige Boarding-Team setzt sich aus den Spezialisierten Einsatzkräften der Marine (SEK M) und den Angehörigen der Stammbesatzung zusammen. Bei einem Einsatz, wie der Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, verstärken die SEK M das Boarding-Team der Fregatte. Die hochspezialisierten Marinesoldaten, zu denen auch die Kampfschwimmer und Minentaucher gehören, sind in Eckernförde stationiert.

Could be an arktis smock and KHS 'commando' trousers

As far as the trousers are concerned...you are possibly referring to this picture:

But look closely, they are not as baggy as they look. The Flecktarn camo-pattern causes the legs of the soldiers in the backround to blur with those of the guys in the front. This creates the illusion of supper flabby trousers.
They are not the usual Bundeswehr pants though, they seem to have some sort of padding sown in.
