Thanks, these are one ones that have been issued in some units in the US Army, I will look into them, a little costly, but I have a $300 knife, so what the hell.

This is UTON vz. 75 from the former Czechoslovakia, for airborne units, special forces etc. Stil being issued in Czech and maybe in Slovakia too. Neither in Uzbekistan nor Azerbaijan.

The knife was made by 'Knives of the Frontier' by Larry Walker, who also happens to be my father. Good guess on the injury...the knife got me good last time I went camping.

^ Ranger knives are some tuff SOBs, great blades. Dont own one but have used one before. The only problem i have with them is they are now made by Ontario, a big knife company that did a small upstart knife company wrong a while back. Thats just me.
