    • S30V is the best blade steel available. It is a high vanadium stainless steel with very high edge retention.
    • 12C27Mod Sandvik provides supreme corrosion resistance with great ductility and strength for wear resistance and durability.
    • 13C26 Sandvik provides great edge retention and hardness for wear resistance and strength.
    • 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, has good edge retention and is easy to sharpen. In a word, ideal.
Is this true what are you all'ss thoughts?

Its sweet handmade 1 at a time coal forged 1020 with a wrap around of 1095 high carbon steel . You might have to wait awile for delivery but the price is right.

Anyone know where I might be able to find one of these? I have an Air Force survival knife that I'd like to attach to my MOLLE-based web gear. Preferably, I'd like to keep the knife in the issue leather sheath, and place the sheath in a MOLLE adaptable holder like the one attached. I Googled my ass off for the better part of an hour, with no luck. I'd prefer something that's nylon, as opposed to kydex, and don't want to spend a lot of money. I did see a couple of hi-speed sheaths on Amazon and a knife specialty website, but they wanted $50-65 for them. I know you get what you pay for, but I'm not spending $50 for a sheath.....

^ Nevermind. I was able to find a snug place behind one of the magazine pouches, with loops to attach the sheath utilizing the cords that came with it. I'll strengthen it with some paracord and it will be good.

I have absolutely no need for a tomahawk, but those pics and the prices make me want one now, dammit. I'm really liking that Roger's Rangers 'hawk.
