^ Thanks, nice.
A documentary about the failed attempt of rescuing Nachshon Waxman, during which both him and Nir Poraz, a Sayeret Matkal fighter were killed. May both of them rest in peace.
lot of israeli infantry guys wear big sack on their helmets, I have no idea how is it called so I canīt find out more info by myself. I suppose itīs for camouflage purpose... one brief answer would help me out thanks in advance
The Mitznefet is also a covering for the infantry helmet used by the Israeli Defense Forces as of 2006. It is considerably larger than the helmet, giving the impression of a militarised chef's hat, shower cap or clown's hat. The purpose of the floppy helmet cover is to break up the distinctive outline of a helmeted head and thus assist in the camouflage of the wearer.
It's called Mitznefet and it's supposed to break the distinctive outline of a helmet and help the soldier blend in better. When they're in an urban environment they take it off.
Edited: Snoshi, you are too damn fast.
thanks, just did not see it on anyone else except israelis... I got it. Thanks again
Correction. That was Sayeret Givati, they're more hard-core.
