Russ, I have top of the line equipment. A nice custom vest (see my avatar), american knee pads, brand new ORLITE helmet, every add on for my rifle, shiftsurim. I'm probably only going to take a Halfas when i do miluim hahaah.Lol, its a perfectionist thing.... probably don't have too many of those in NAHAL

Yes. As long as you don't bring stuff that makes you stand out. You can bring your own boots, vest (color permitting) gloves etc..
In Feb was in miluim and was caught in the rain with some crappy Halfas lol... you got then bring that too (mind you its summer now)!! Not sure you gonna be in long enough to pimp that rifle of yours cos if its training then no point. Kav for a month then hell-ya!!! PS if you rolling in the **** then use the ****ty old vests, don't wanna mess up your shiney new Wasah vest now do you!!

Finally! Some reasonably looking bet and worn out of pants. Now change the alef to something even remotely uniform like and get normal hard shell jackets and together with the new boots we will have finally a reasonably dressed army.

We don't iron uniforms in the IDF. Dress uniforms on the other hand are made from mainly Polyester and don't get wrinkled.
